WilmerHale currently has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Practice Manager in our Palo Alto office, working with attorneys at the top of their field.
Responsible for the daily management and business operations of the Litigation and Securities Departments in the Denver, Los Angeles, and Palo Alto offices, with a strong emphasis on work allocation, professional development, and relationship building. Acts as the liaison with other Firm legal and administrative groups as needed.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Attorney Professional Development and Work Assignment Staffing
· Administrative and Operational Support
· Matter Management & Financial Tracking
· Human Resources responsibilities as needed
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with lawyers, staff and peer administrators. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to handle a wide variety of responsibilities. Ability to identify and solve problems, take initiative and work independently under pressure. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion. Bachelor’s Degree required; JD preferred.
