Essential Job Functions
As a member of the Firmwide (FW) Legal Recruiting and Development (LRD) Department, the Director of Attorney Recruiting, Development & Engagement will support the vision set by Firm leadership and provide strategic direction and implementation for all attorney recruiting, development and engagement activities in San Francisco/Palo Alto.  The Director will oversee the processes, programming and overall functioning of the recruiting, development and engagement channels with the goal of creating an irresistible, best-in-class workplace for the Firm’s attorneys.
The position will closely collaborate with the Senior Director of Firmwide Legal Recruiting & Development, Global Director of Diversity & Inclusion, Director of Firmwide Legal Education & Development and local leadership to implement and advance various initiatives related to (i) recruiting, hiring and onboarding, (ii) attorney workflow integration, (iii) morale, retention and employee engagement, (iv) diversity, equity and inclusion (“DEI”), (v) practice area specific training, and (vi) associate review initiatives.
