The Recruiting Assistant, Firm Recruiting is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Firm Recruiting Manager, Human Resources Manager and Office Administrator. The Recruiting Assistant performs all functions of staff and lawyer recruiting (lateral recruiting, law school recruiting, and summer associate program), including, but not limited to, coordinating travel arrangements; scanning resumes, and maintaining applicant tracking database; sending confirmation emails; reserving conference rooms, establishing event venues and preparing event invitations; generating interview schedules; collecting candidate evaluations; assisting with on-campus interviews registration; maintaining contact lists for summer associates; maintaining summer program event calendar; coordinating, creating, and maintaining applicant files; completing data entry and overseeing data maintenance. The Recruiting Assistant will also provide day-to-day support to the San Francisco office human resources department including, but not limited to, preparing new hire packets; administering applicant employment testing; maintaining staff attendance calendars; creating and maintaining HR and personnel files; and assisting with the new hire onboarding process. The Recruiting Assistant will work with the Office Administrator to organize and plan office-related events and assist with special projects. The Recruiting Assistant is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to clients, producing quality work products, and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. Above all, the Recruiting Assistant, must fulfill the needs of the Office and the Firm in a manner which is consistent with the Firm’s visions and values.
• Four-year college degree.
• Prior human resources, recruiting, event planning or administrative experience in an office environment preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a business environment, professional or legal services preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within and outside of the Firm.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
