Job Posting: Legal Recruiting Coordinator

Seyfarth Shaw has an exciting opportunity for a recruiting professional to help implement the recruiting strategy for the Firm, as part of a broader investment the Firm is making in its recruiting, professional development and talent management functions.  This position will be based out of our San Francisco office and, in conjunction with the Regional Sr. Legal Recruiting Manager, West Coast, provide support for the attorney recruiting efforts for Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.  Seyfarth Shaw has more than 900 attorneys in the U.S., London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Sydney and serves as a national platform and an international gateway to serve the changing business and legal needs in litigation, employment, corporate, real estate and employee benefits.

Job Description
The Legal Recruiting Coordinator manages the recruiting process for non-partner attorneys in their assigned office(s). Reporting to the Regional Sr. Legal Recruiting Manager, West Coast and working closely with hiring partners, the position is responsible for implementing attorney search strategies to identify high quality candidates, in alignment with the Firm’s core values of diversity, collaboration, and innovation.


Qualifications
Initiative, team orientation, commitment to diversity and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills are required.  Detail oriented, creative problem solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple and shifting priorities.  Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs is required.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.  Knowledge of viRecruit and Workday a plus. Knowledge of attorney recruiting procedures and a minimum of three years’ law firm or other professional recruiting experience is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
