Job Posting: Lawyer Recruiting Coordinator

Davis Wright Tremaine is looking for a Lawyer Recruiting Coordinator to join our team in one of our California offices (Los Angeles or San Francisco). This position is responsible for providing professional support to the Lawyer Recruiting Managers with a particular focus on lawyer recruiting activity in our California offices.
 
Lateral Attorney Hiring
§  Assist Lawyer Recuiting Managers with all aspects of lateral hiring and integration
o    Prepare due diligence documents as requested by manager
o    Prepare interview schedules and candidate packets
o    Assist managers with lateral attorney sourcing activities
o    Prepare offer letters and regret letters
o    Prepare check requests and reimbursements for lateral hiring activity
o    Greet lateral candidates as needed
o    Prepare reports on hiring activity, as requested by managers
§  Assist new hires with relocation
§  Source for candidates as needed
 
Attorney Onboarding and Integration
§  Develop and schedule orientation for new attorney hires
§  Work with firm management to provide integration support for lateral attorney hires
 
Administrative Tasks
§  Process incoming mail
§  Enter applicant information into the recruiting database as needed
§  Maintain electronic files
§  Order lunches or make reservations, as needed
§  Handle details for miscellaneous events or department functions, as needed
§  Assist with other HR projects, as needed
§  Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Adhere to schedule by being timely on breaks, lunches and meetings
 
QUALIFICATIONS
§  Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, service environment
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to feel and reach with hands and arms and frequently required to sit, stand, walk and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
