Job Posting: Legal Assistant/Assistant Recruiting & Development Support

We have an immediate full-time opening for an Assistant in our Silicon Valley office.  This position is responsible for (1) providing administrative and legal secretarial support to attorneys within various practice groups, and (2) assisting the Attorney Recruitment & Development Manager with all phases of recruiting and development efforts for entry-level and lateral attorneys.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a legal and/or professional services environment.  Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication, time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.  Candidate must have a minimum typing speed of 50 WPM and be proficient using MS Office 2010 products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and Windows operating system. 
 We are looking for energetic self-starters who are highly customer service- and detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.  Training and mentoring will be provided.  Must be able to work overtime as needed.  A High School diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
