Job Posting: Recruiting Assistant

Fish & Richardson, a leading global intellectual property and litigation firm with 12 offices in the United States and Munich, Germany, and over 370 attorneys, is seeking a professional to join its Legal Talent team as a Recruiting Assistant in the Redwood City office. 

The Recruiting Assistant, under the supervision of the Chief Legal Talent & Inclusion Officer, performs a variety of recruiting tasks according to established policies and procedures. The Recruiting Assistant assists the Legal Recruiting Manager and Legal Recruiters in maintaining the recruiting database, processing candidate inquiries, coordinating on-campus efforts, preparing for the summer program, arranging candidate interview and travel, generating recruiting department correspondence and various other projects and assignments.  

The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to perform clerical tasks at a high level, must work well within a team-oriented environment, and contribute to effective team relationships. 

Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and follow instruction effectively from a diverse group of attorneys, clients, and staff, communicate effectively by phone, the ability to work with confidential information, and provide information with courtesy and tact. Work requires more than normally scheduled work hours during certain months in order to perform the essential duties of the position. 

Minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience, preferably in recruiting in the professional services industry.  Skills and knowledge of administrative support as normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
